On June 22nd, the 2026 annual safety production skills competition for employees of industrial and trade enterprises, jointly hosted by the Funing County Federation of Trade Unions and the County Emergency Management Bureau, was successfully held. Xue Ling and Chen Jincheng from the Safety Production Department of Jiangsu Jinhai New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Jinhai Group, won the second prize in the electrical and welding groups respectively.

This competition was jointly hosted by the Funing County Federation of Trade Unions and the County Emergency Management Bureau. Fifty frontline workers from 18 townships across the county competed on the same stage in three projects: electrical operation, fusion welding and thermal cutting, and emergency rescue, testing their safety skills in a real-life setting. After a day of intense competition, one first prize winner, two second prize winners, and three third prize winners were determined in each project. Amidst warm applause, relevant comrades from the County Federation of Trade Unions and the County Emergency Management Bureau presented certificates to the award-winning contestants, creating a lively and inspiring atmosphere on the scene.

Although the competition has come to an end, safety never ends. Industrial and trade enterprises across the county will take this competition as an opportunity to continuously deepen on-the-job training and skill competitions, promote the normalization of "promoting learning, practicing, and prevention through competitions", and make it a common practice for everyone to talk about safety and be prepared for emergencies, laying a solid foundation for high-quality development in the county.
